We are small non-profit organisation devoted to suppling people with the skills they require to be able to get employed, and if we cannot help we will try and find someone who can. We give courses below the avarage price, and these could be on a variety of topics, such as Microsoft office programs. The training will be given in the local area and this can be at a venue or in your home as we try to keep things easiest for the service users. Each of the sessions will be tailored to your needs and your current level of what you're trying to learn.
Our small social enterprise SKMB Community Training has changed 10's individual's lives in the last 2 years of its existence, two apprentices have secured high paid jobs, three have gone for further education and we helped 5 nurses get promoted due to our IT training. We have changed three over 80s lives by giving them free basic computer skills.
The problem is, word has gone round and we have had further request on a one to one training on different aspects of employability skills, for example web search, completing application forms, preparing for interviews etc. At SKMB we feel as though everyone deserves this nevermind their background, so we want to help where possible so sometimes we give out free courses to those that cannot pay for their own as they just lack the money, so eventually they will be able to get a job and have the extra money to do what they want instead of getting stuck with mandatory things they don't understand.
