Prime Candidate (Social Enterprise) Limited

We are Champions for Older Workers.
We give employers access to the experience and skills they need. For organisations and employers across the world, we also have the Champions Charter, an accreditation achieved through commitment to age diversity. All members can display the new ‘Champions’ mark.
We incentivise employers to advertise their jobs with us, with an affordable and effective process. Our pricing is very competitive against traditional recruitment agencies, as well as other on-line job boards, and local press methods.
We provide an added value and direct route for employers seeking to balance their staff resources and benefit from added value attributes that an older worker brings to an organisation.

Prime Candidate is a Social Enterprise supporting older workers back in to employment. As well as offering a direct recruitment route for employers, we support job seekers with employment training and advice. We work across all sectors, Public, Private and the Third Sector. We incentivise employers with an affordable recruitment process, aimed to support small regional businesses, as well as large corporate brands such as McDonald's. Our candidate support programmes have been adopted by organisations such as the DWP/JobCentrePlus and the Shaw Trust, where we provide one-to-one and group sessions.
We lobby across all sectors to remove age barriers and recognise the added values and attributes an older worker brings to an employer, such as reliability, loyalty and strong customer service.
Approx. 1.5 million people aged 50-64 in the UK are involuntarily unemployed. They want to work but do not have the required support. Research says that if they were working, it could have a benefit to UK GDP of over £80 billion!
Age discrimination against older workers is a UK wide issue. To balance this inequality, more awareness is required of the value that an experienced individual can bring to an employer.
As well as the commercial benefits to the UK economy, the potential benefit that can be achieved in the social community environment is limitless.
Our aim is to eliminate the employment inequalities for older workers, by supporting job seekers and through strong engagement with employers to demonstrate the added value skills an older worker can bring to their workforce.
