We are an award winning social enterprise providing training, apprenticeships and employment opportunities to over 700 people each year across school leavers, individuals and businesses.
We are part of the Aspire Group, a leading social regeneration business in Staffordshire consisting of Aspire Housing, the Realise Foundation and Furniture Mine. This provides wider access to work experience and routes to a variety of industries.
We are the largest provider of apprenticeships for 16-18 year olds in Staffordshire, built upon 30 years of experience and strong relationships with over 1200 local businesses.
Our education programmes prepare young people for work through work experience, employability and qualifications, ensuring a seamless transition into real jobs and sustainable employment.
We support individuals to increase their knowledge and skills and successfully support the majority to find full time employment or further training in a wide variety of careers. In fact, during the past five years, over 80% of our learners have found employment through ourselves or progressed into further education – improving the local area we live in.
We strongly believe in delivering on our corporate promises to maximise opportunities for young people and businesses in Staffordshire. Being a social enterprise means our services concentrate on maximising the social, economic and environmental impact we can have in the local area.
Here are some of the reasons why we invest so much back into our local communities:
Tackling youth unemployment through creating over 250 young apprentices each year;
For every £1 invested through our Homeworks services and apprenticeship programmes, our social return on investment is £4.80;
As a social value champion in Staffordshire, we provide support to businesses for future tendering opportunities in line with the Social Value Act;
Community engagement activities;
Supply chain growth
