Turnaround Futures CIC
8th April 2016
Turnaround Futures is committed to making a difference to young people aged between 10-25. Our vision is that every young person will develop resilience, happiness, feel confident to deal with life’s challenges and create safe & happy communities across the country. ALL young people regardless of their family background should have opportunities to ensure they are equipped and ready to deal with adversity and life beyond
Evidence and research shows that the number of young people who are being diagnosed with a mental health disorder has significantly increased over recent years.
Providing training, coaching and opportunities for young people will build and develop their resilience, happiness and wellbeing and ensure a bright future.
Jeremy has particular expertise in facilitating the development of personal skills and leadership abilities in both young people and adults.
His background in retail and hospitality gives him a commercial perspective on teamwork, employability and leadership. He has designed, developed and delivered impactful training around leadership and personal development.
Insia has worked with public sector organisations, including the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust, to design and deliver training and advise on authentic youth voice and leadership. Her experience across the corporate, not-for-profit and educational sectors gives her a deep insight into the diverse challenges that different settings and groups present.
Who will benefit?
Young people: this will include young people aged between 10- 25 to raise aspirations, become more resilient to life’s setbacks & challenges and promote well-being and happiness.
Local community: Reduce crime rates and anti-social behaviour in local areas to ensure it is a safer and happier place to live, increase the use of community facilities and reduce the number of young people who seek belonging and identity through engagement in gangs.
We want to see adults and young people working as a partnership in social action and community projects.
Employers: By helping future employees develop skills and be work ready and committed to their futures. We will also support businesses to fulfil their corporate social responsibility.
